Nicole Anson - 5th DanNicole has been studying Aikido for over 18 years. She was a member of the British National Squad for 12 years and has retired (sort of) to take on the role of Sports Development Officer for the BAA. She has been responsible for running all our National Aikido Competitions for the British Aikido Association for over 6 years. A qualified teacher with QTS and a degree in physical movement, Nicole's teaching style is often explorative, where students are challenged to develop their own skills and find how to optimise their own style to make Aikido effective for themselves. Jamie Roberts - 2nd DanJamie started practising at Eastleigh Aikido Club in 1997. Before Aikido he studied Judo from a young age. Whilst at University in 1987; he had his first introduction lesson in Aikido; which left a lasting impression. Ten years later he was launched into competitive Aikido, was training with the National Squad competing in World Championship Tournaments. In 2001 he started the Eastleigh Aikido Kids Club which has allowed him to give back to the local community. Jamie says "It is a great delight to see confidence in young people grow as they learn."
